The Alexander Hamilton Society (AHS) is an independent, non-partisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting constructive debate on basic principles surrounding contemporary issues in American foreign, economic, and national security policy.
Our team of passionate officers is committed to bringing students and leading scholars from across the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus and the country together. We hope that AHS can inspire and foster innovative thought through our bi-weekly, student-led discussions, monthly special events, and blog. Our organization doesn't subscribe to any particular ideology and firmly believes
that we must encourage "continual and fearless sifting and winnowing by which alone the truth may be found.”
At the 2015 Hamilton Society Chapter Officer Conference, the UW-Madison chapter was selected for the Chapter of the Year Award from more than 60 chapters from colleges and universities across the country.
